Hi, I'm Melissa...

The Gallagher Firm

The Gallagher Firm knows Fort Worth. I am local and plan to stay that way.

I exclusively represent Tarrant County residential property owners, and limit my practice to Tarrant County because that gives my firm, and my clients, an edge when it comes to property tax protests. Keeping my practice local ensures that the Firm’s approach to obtaining and maintaining market knowledge of residential properties and values in Tarrant County is focused, strategic, and thoughtful.

When you hire The Gallagher Firm to protest your property tax, I will personally prepare a proprietary evidentiary packet containing my custom analysis and argument to present before the Appraisal Review Board at Tarrant Appraisal District. I know what information is most important to the ARB and TAD when it comes to value reduction, and fight to ensure that you are only paying taxes on what your home is truly worth.

The charge for this service is a one-time flat-fee. If I am unable to provide a reduction of at least 2.4% of the Appraised Value of the subject property (being the value that actually affects your tax liability), I will represent you the following year for free.*

It’s as simple as that.

Melissa Lowery Gallagher earned her Juris Doctorate from Texas A&M University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin. She founded The Gallagher Firm, PLLC in 2016 and lives in Fort Worth with her husband and four children.
